چکیده

The technology has proceeded so much that the power system should be substantial and explicit to give optimal results. Ever-increasing complexities of load disparity cause frequency fluctuations leading efficiency degradation system. In order a suitable real output, entails an extremely perceptive control technique. Consequently, advanced method, is, adaptive model predictive controller (AMPC), is suggested for (LFC) series which comprises photovoltaic (PV), wind, thermal power. method considered enhance execution as well decrease oscillations due discrepancy in parameters disturbance under multi-area network. AMPC design verifies constant by maintaining minimum steady state error varying conditions. proposed approach pledge steady-state frequencies interchange tie line powers maintained given tolerance constraint. effectiveness scrutinized conventional controllers like genetic algorithm-tuned PI (GA-PI), firefly (FA-PI), (MPC) show competence method.

Design of Model Predictive Controller (MPC) for Load Frequency Control (LFC) in an Interconnected Power System

In the power system, any sudden load changes leads to the deviation in tie-line power and the frequency. So load frequency control is an issue in power system operation and control for supplying sufficient and reliable electric power with good quality. The main goal of the load frequency control of a power system is to maintain the frequency of each area and tie-line power flow with in prescrib...

GA based Internal Model Controller Design for Load Frequency Control in Power System via Reduced Order Model

In the conventional two degree freedom (TDF)-internal model controller (IMC) design, obtaining suitable value of tuning parameter is much more complex and difficult. In this paper, the approach of genetic algorithm (GA) is proposed to obtain optimized value of tuning parameter used in TDF-IMC controller design. For TDF-IMC controller design, 2 nd order reduced-model is obtained using the Routh ...
